The name 6 O’Clock Shadows was born out of the Landscape. Sitting back relaxing on the Alfresco patio. Watching the sunset and the long evening shadows turn from dusk to twilight as evening blankets the rolling hills. Sharing a story or two, as the cicadas sing. You set the evening table, settle in to rest your bones, after a day well-lived.

Whether its a day at Cape Conran surf beach, walking through the trails, visiting the mountains, fishing the Snowy River, returning from West Cape after a day out on the ocean fishing; flathead, shark, whiting, snapper or king fish. May it was something simple, taking a stroll through Orbost, visiting Marlo, having a lunch at the famous ‘Marlo Pub’ or even touring around in the car discovering the ‘Snowy River Trail’ sight seeing Mc Killop’s Bridge or going deep into the local Buchan Caves. Life in East Gippsland can be an adventure or just as pleasurable relaxing on the farm.
